Housed in a recycled shipping container that once traveled the seas, the store now serves nearly 1,600 clients each month, distributing surplus and donated goods to those in need. The store has even inspired six other locations and helped launch 412 Food Rescue, a movement dedicated to ending hunger by rescuing perfectly good food that would otherwise go to waste.

Volunteers are needed from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the store open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
